As a regular Cannes observer and a TV Tropes addict,
I started noticing that Cannes Lion winners have many similarities… And some type of works just win again and again AND again. I started to list out Cannes tropes and found work examples to prove my point

 

… And that’s how this website comes to be.

 

Although I feature some older works as examples,
I focus more on the latest five years since some tropes’ popularities change through time. I will keep updating
the website when I identify a new trope.
